Air Deccan - Cancellations
Hi all,
After Air Deccan's no cancellation policy has any one actually tried cancelling a ticket ? I have got tickets on two sectors Leh - Delhi & Srinagar - Delhi (Those six Rs. ones + Plus taxes) which I need to cancel as I had to cancel my plans  I want to know if they refund the tax part or not. Ronak. |

There was a flight delay when i had to go. I canceled the ticket & i got full refund.

Tax refund
My friend got the tax portion refunded in some 21 days ....

I got mine in 24 hours...but again it depends on their current policy of refund...

This is what their website states reg. cancellations.
Ronak. Air Deccan does not allow for cancellations of any tickets. Only Rescheduling of Tickets is allowed. NO REFUND (except for the passenger service fee of Rs. 225/-) is given if the passenger cancels his / her ticket |

Refund ....
My friend got a refund in Aug 2006 must be before the new policy (i don't know)
The NO refund applies to the ticket amount (it was six rupees, not much in this case...) but... how can they NOT refund the airport taxes?? |
