Agra-Delhi Fly or Train After reading all the posts on Train vs. Car, I now see Kingfisher is starting up a flight. Sounds convenient, 5pm. I know fog is a problem, but is it quicker than train (given check-in time)? Thanks! Beachfan

I would go for the excellent train connection. Check in time, probability of delayed departure, hover over Delhi in the que waiting for landing clearance and assumimg you are staying in Pahergunge or central Delhi the long taxi drive.

I don't see why anyone would choose to fly between Agra and Delhi, when there are so many trains on that route, taking around three hours. And almost any class in an Indian train beats a plane for comfort and spaciousness. Last edited by Mickey S; Nov 3rd, 2007 at 03:42..

Thanks. As far as why anyone would fly, I'm doing it one way I think as I'm flying Udaipur-Delhi (on another carrier) and it seems that since I'm at the airport anyway, flying on to Agra that day would be reasonable. Alternatives would be going from the airport to the train station, or splitting up my time in Delhi with an overnight to Agra. Last edited by beachfan; Nov 3rd, 2007 at 05:57..

Jeez, what a tough group. I already decided to fly Udaipur/Delhi/Agra, I was asking about Agra-Delhi, just like I posted originally. Someone asked why would anyone fly Delhi/Agra, which lead to my second post. Don't worry, I won't bother you folks anymore.
