A question about domestic airlines

Is it cheaper to book for example Air Deccan online or through a travel agent?

I once booked a ticket through an agent, and Im wondering if its cheaper to DIY directly from the airline.

Air Deccan is one of the new “Low Cost” airlines in India.

Online prices start at Rs.500 (+Rs.221 PSF) so I don’t think you’ll get any cheaper through a travel agent.

Also, look out for http://www.spicejet.com and http://www.flykingfisher.com.

Kingfisher Airlines sound fun – as long as the pilot isn’t having a beer too!
