| 2 h 10 min. to change from international to national - possible? Hallo IMs! My friend and I are planning to fly into Delhi 5th september at 4.00 a.m. with Finnair and were thinking about going directly onward to Leh with Kingfisher. Their plane leaves at 6.10 o´clock. Is that possible / doable / advisable? Unfortunately we did not manage to book "through" to Leh - instead we will have to purchase an extra ticket for the Kingfisher. At a "normal" airport I would think it is tight but possible. How about Delhi? How much time we have to allow for check in with Kingfisher? Thanks a lot for you help! |

| Hi, a little while ago I was planning to do the same thing but finally decided not to. When I purchased the tickets, there was some more time but Kingfisher's schedule was changed and I changed the Delhi-Leh flight for the next day. Since Kingfisher agreed to change after I presented my Helsinki-Delhi ticket, should be a sign that they thought the same way. I read somewhere that you should allow up to 1 hour for transfer from one terminal to the other (shuttle bus) and it is advisable to be in the domestic airport about 1,5-2 hours before departure time. Which makes your schedule pretty tight... There's a quite resent post about it: Change from International to Domestic in 3 hours in Delhi. Good luck anyway! |
