I don't understand the fixation on Labs?
Why can't he have well groomed Podles, Afghans, or Collies as friends?

OK: I guess the guy is seriously looking to mate a pedigree dog with another of the same. I guess we do also have some very doggy people here.

On the whole, I'd still agree that this is the wrong site for the subject! The responses confirm that!

Hardly... it'd take more than a quick rational explanation to stop such a thread.

Actually, it would take a moderator closing the thread. Did we even mention closing the thread?

Well, apart from just then, of course...

Carry on...

In pedigree dog breeding you would normally have a female dog to start with. Looking for males to breed with. Since the owner of the female has the litter of pubs.
? So I don't know ?
Could be a new breeding technique ?
Let's find out? Or we will never know.

Very true, I hadn't noticed that

The plot thickens!

I guess he must be feeling sorry for his poor dog.

Since its christmas time he might think of a relly good present for his dog? No more dogbones. I think that is why he is so picky too.

It's quite common in doggy breeding circles for the owner of the dog, to take the 'pick of the litter' from the bitch. Instead of a fee - he may want to do this if his own dog is getting older.

Chocolate Labradors are brown coloured ones. Never saw any when I was in India.
