Tinned catfood in Ahmedabad!

At last! ... finally got a contact at a Planet Health store (area sales manager) who has arranged for stocking of tins and pouches of catfood.

Our cats took one look at the pouches and scoffed down a whole bowl in one sitting! (They've been on dry food for the last year... missing their tins and pouches like anything).

Anyone in Ahmedabad with cats - also on the lookout for cat food... let me know and I'll pass on the details.

I have scoured the internet for cat food supplies in India but I guess its a well known fact that its extremely scarce. Brought a silver chinchilla persian from Japan but have been feeding him cans of tuna.

Am glad to have found your posting. Where can I get my hands on cat food, both wet and dry? Hopefully, they can offer shipping to Chennai.

I don't know if you have access to a 'Planet Health' store but there are 3 or 4 in Ahmedabad. They used to only do dry cat food (Royal Canin or Iams), but recently they've also introduced Whiskas tins and pouches of food. The range is pretty limited (fish-based only), but our cats are at least happy they get those!

Now all I need to find is a supply of cat litter!

i've never ever seen cat litter in india. i just drive down to the local beach for sand.
