Hi all!

At last (!!!) I can post the pictures!

I was ill and had surgery, so was not able to drive out to Animal Farm to take them myself, and it took them a while to mail them to me.

But finally the cattery is up and running (I think since March or April)! As you can see from the pictures it's quite large, and the little houses are the reason it all took so long to set up.

There are no cats visible because they are all inside because of the heat.

I'm very happy this has now come to fruition, and glad the furry ones don't have to sit in the small cages anymore.

Sucheta is planning to put more stuff in the cage for them to climb and play. Slowly, slowly ...

Greetings! Noodle

Great!

Neads a sofa, a couple of armchairs, some string --- and some cats, I suppose ---Ah, they're inside sheltering, OK!

Sorry to hear about your health, and hoping you are fit again now.

Hi Nick! Yes, thanks I'm better now - but it seems the next problem is looming on the horizon! Isn't my year, I guess.

Sofa and armchairs, yes, but only made of leather! It's best for sharpening nails, you know?

Hi Noodle,

Looks great! Well done!

You say it is not your year but this at least has come up which is more than many manage in multiple years.

All the best!

Hi birds! And thanks.

Yes, I'm also very pleased that this is finally done - as are the donors! Many have left me though because it took so long ...

Congratulations Noodle.. very happy to see that cattery is finally in place. I was watching out this thread since long but had never participated. You have really put in lot of efforts for this to happen..which has finally paid for.

I am also linked to Jeevraksha and keep on helping them on small things. Am planning to visit Animal farm as well in a fortnight or so..

Hi Noodle, I visited Animal farm day before yesterday - cat shelter is indeed looking very good and cats are enjoying. They have now also put up a good kind of play area in the shelter for cats which is well designed.

Your dream is finally realized and cats are very happy :-)

Hi rmadane! That's wonderful to hear!

How did you like it out there? Isn't it wonderful? So quiet, and it must be really green now.

Hi everyone.I'm new here.
@Noodle : Great work there.I wish i could do something useful like you.Though as I live in Pune,I'd try to take some time off and help at Jeev Raksha. One question-Do they accept strays there?

By the way, anyone knows of any other shelters in Pune that accept strays?I see so many homeless animals each day,it'll be great if I could help find them a home.
