new entertainment released

Yesterday was a big animal day.

I went to my local and found that they had a new attraction. They had tied what I call a sacred ibis by the foot to a tree as a tourist attractant.

I was uncertain a to how they would react but I walked straight over and let it go. While doing this, I was laughing and kept asking who did this. They were so busy pointing at each other that the bird was free before they knew it. I then explained to a now large crowd that tourist will not come to places that do this (yes, sadly, it is a lie).

Maybe I got away with it because I have a bit of economic clout there. Also, as it was a new addition I think they were less upset than they woukd have been.

Arrived home to find our adopted dog playing catch on his own with a large turtle (terrapin actually). Poor bugger. He was moved to a dog and child free abandoned mansion close by.

Good work Dr. P.!

By the way, I am fairly sure that the Ibis comes under Section 51, 1-A of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 and keeping them without permission carries at least fine, perhaps worse. I know nobody will implement this but telling people about it sometimes scares them a little

Now, do we report you or your adopted dog for playing catch with the terrapin?

Well done, Doc. it's nice when human beings act like stewards of the planet rather than enemies!

Interestingly enough, they are conversely an invasive species in Europe..
