Moving from USA to India- Quarantine Period for Dog?

Hello Again,

I am moving from USA to India with my dog. I am getting conflicting information about the quarantine. Some agents are telling me that there is 30 days period and some are saying there is no quarantine period at all.

Can someone who moved along with their dog or someone who knows the rule confirm which one is correct.

There are such threads on site (see down below). You must take the paperwork showing a recent Rabies vaccination. No quarantine necessary considering Rabies is more a problem than snake bites in India..
