There are two new interesting FREE downloads on nature:

A study on bird migration in India

The Benaulim Green Book by Clinton Vaz
This book takes a look at the environmental history of Goa, facts about Benaulim, its flora and fauna, bird-watching there, walks and cycle trails, and more.

Some of its other chapters include 'how to be a green tourist',
alternatives to the plastic carry bags, and a map of Benaulim. The last four chapters tell you "all you want to know about snakes", waste management in Benaulim, a list of NGOs and what they do, and a list of useful phone contacts in the area.
