beachsellersdelight --- last posted a few weeks ago. You could try PMing her, but she might have been put off the site by the rubbish this thread unfortunately spawned.

Noodle is working full-time in animal welfare but in Pune.

OK the thread that no one wanted has been revived

Through a change of my avatar to tiny puppies for a brief period I have now been taken seriously. (No thanks to ye, Captain )

Beach has been in contact and I will report back for anyone who still watches this thread.

Bless you Dr Gaja! Yes, I'm taking you serious. Please let us know what happened to the dogs! I never forgot this thread (forget about the little quarrel, water down the bridge). Good luck! I hope those dogs have a better life by now!

@ Nick, eh, I'm not really full-time in animal welfare, I do need to earn a living and take care of my own animals too, demanding little crowd But I do what I can, just the other week brought four mistreated street pups to the shelter and today brought their mother to the Blue Cross to have her spayed. Will pick her up in a couple of days again, as good as new!

Well it is just not in India that a problem with dogs occur. I have a neighbor next door that has his dog in a very small cage with no water bowl and feces all over and the dog is laying on wire from the cage. I confronted the neighbor and he moved the cage where I cannot see what is going on now. And if I call the animal control they will come and take the animal. And these kind of people will get revenge and poison your dogs, which I have 5 that is taken very good care of. In fact I bought one of my dogs in New Delhi 6 years ago and brought him back to the USA with me. He is a jewel, just a lover dog and so smart. I truly love animals and it is hard for me to get into these threads, very upseting. But one candle lit can light up the world. so thanks to the ones that try and help the animals as best they can, I too am doing here in the USA, egging my neighbor to do better with the dog.

No, happens everywhere, sadly. It is the common sign of the human inability to stand in the shoes (paws, claws etc) of something outside themselves.

And really the dog is the only animal that gives complete unconditional LOVE, and such a joy to be around. One of my dogs looks just like my avatar. He went with me from Miami Beach to New Delhi and back to the USA. I travel with my dogs and they love to go, and do very well flying. I have one dog that is a diabetic on NPH Insulin, my Basset Hound is on A heart, fluid, blood pressure and relaxent medications, he takes four pills twice a daily, the insulin is also twice daily.

Gypsie, I would like to urge you to inform the animal control center in your area nonetheless. They do take complaints anonymously, you know?

@Dr Gaja, any news? Have you been able to find that Ashram with those dogs?

noodle, I am just waiting on clearer directions - I don't want to send the IndiaMike Special Attack Forces into the wrong ashram. Will go and have a chat to the Bishop too. It appears that he is unable to respond to correspondence. I am looking after a very large german shepherd at the moment - he loves to meet new people and is remarkably persuasive

I am wondering if the Dr has been able to make a visit or investigate in any way, as he had indicated he would ?

Back in England now I feel pretty helpless ........no replies from either the Priest in charge of the Ashram or the Bishop .
Help !
