Bangalore animal shelter needs help

This is one of the Indian blogs I read and came across this post dated October 10, you have to scroll down the blog.

"Dogs in trouble!Please help!

I support an animal shelter called 'Anand Chhaaya Animal Welfare organisation'. We have about 170 dogs on our premises and feed a hundred more dogs. We also vaccinate and sterilize dogs after befriending them. This is a totally privately funded registered organization. We do not get any funds from the government.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have lost the donations from our main contributor. Hence we have been unable to even feed the dogs well for the last couple of months......

If you, or your friends, would like to visit the shelter, or make any contributions or would just like to know more, please contact...[SEE BLOG POST FOR DETAILS]

The shelter is located at BairathiHalli, near Hennur, Off Banaswadi Ring Road, Bangalore."

Hi Yogagal,

I will back in India very soon to finish creating my two websites. One will be dedicated to holistic pet products and animal welfare and I intend to give part of this website's income to indian and african shelters.
So I bookmark carefully this adress.

I have noticed that and I'm so sorry about it!
I'm also aware of such horrible and urgent situations.
That's why it is important to send regular money to some shelter so that they could anticipate.
I'm in France at the moment but will try to reach them.

Hi YogaGal,

I am just back from a 3 week business trip during which I never check the IM mail so I am catching up now.

Any idea what is happening with the shelter? Did they contact other shelters like CUPA for temporarly assistance?

I would be happy to send donations but it might be too late now?

Any news would be welcome.

Laviah, will your websites include pet food which is not tested on animals? In any case what will be URLs be?
