YMCAs in New Delhi -- recommend staying there?
I will be taking my first trip to India next month and I am looking at a variety of places for possible stay of 7 nights. I was told of three YMCAs in the area where it would be most effective for me to stay.
Any thoughts from those posting on here as to this being a decent option or not for lodging? Good and bad stories welcomed. |

Hi and welcome to IndiaMike. Have you used the site's search function to look around for it/them? It gets regularly discussed. Search also for YWCA, if I remember correctly (but I may well be wrong) it accepts male guests as well.
My impression is it's not rock-bottom cheap but gets otherwise favorable reviews. Some of them seem to be not so conveniently located. Try also the site's Hotel Listings btw, which may have some reviews.
