Wifi in Delhi: the 2008 version

I know that there's a list of Wifi-hotspots in India dating back to 2005. Can we compile a Delhi-centric update to this list? After all, many of the listings published in that old post are no longer alive.

Given how often our Hathway connection at home drops out, we're in desperate need of knowing where we can go to find a decent connection.

Here's two to start the list:

NUDELI in GKII
- accessed 1/3/08 from the Barista nearby. Very slow.

SAKET SELECT CITIWALK MALL
- accessed 1/3/08. Very slow

Another wifi source identified: Market Cafe in Khan Market. They even advertise it on their signboard.

Finally a Delhi cafe that realizes that they can attract customers by offering free wifi! My wifi and I spent four hours there -- lunch, dessert, coffee, and snack -- all because they had wifi. So that's a lot of revenue for very little investment. Let this be a lesson to any Delhi establishment!

Barrique in Gurgaon also has free wifi. If you have to be in Gurgaon...

Barrique is in the same building as Mainland China and F-bar.

My affection for TGIF stems from one sole dish which is the Ribs.... yum yum...!! A few years ago it used to be about 500 INR for a full rack...then they segregated it into Indian and imported ribs and raised the prices... the indian ribs are not worth it at all so by default i used to have the imported ones which till last year were 800, then they went upto 1300 and as of some weeks ago they are now 1500.... , given that i can have as many as 2 full racks , it costs me an arm and a leg to get ribs!
