Wholesale makets in Delhi

Hi,

Can anyone please help me with the following queries:

1. I need information regarding wholesale Ladies Footwear markets in delhi where I can get ladies slip ons, jutis, trendy flat sandals, heels at reasonable rate. Please do let me know the main markets since i will be in delhi for 2 or 3 days, want to hit those places directly without wandering here and there.

2. Another Information is required for wholesale ladies bag markets. I heard about Dilli Haat, please do confirm whether i will get canvas, n other fashionable ladies handbags/shoulderbags there?? If not then Please do suggest some good places. I do not require leather products, just fashionable stuff at low and reasonable wholesale rate..

For footwear I'd suggest going to Rajouri Garden Main market (close to the metro station) and a few shops which I liked were Stelatoes n Stush..They deal in wholesale as well as retail. I picked about 8 pairs in April, very reasonable n fashionable

For both your needs head to Sarojini Nagar Market !

At Rajouri Garden Main market which kind of footwear I will get.. Flats, slippers or heels?

Are you buying for resale? If so, then Karol Bagh is indeed good for shoes and nearby Sadar Bazaar is good for bags.

On our last trip to Delhi, while poking around in back lanes off Chandni Chowk, we bumbled into what must be Footwear Central. Shop after shop after shop stacked to the rafters with boxes and boxes and boxes of shoes of every description. I stand to be corrected by delhiwala, but it looked to me as if these guys could be the über-wholesalers supplying all the other markets mentioned here.

The location is on and around Ballimaran, a little beyond Town Hall. It's a location midway between the Red Fort and the Old Spice Market that would allow you to combine sightseeing with shopping or business, close also to the famous Kinari Bazar and the Jama Masjid, not to say the all-important Karim's.

I've marked up a couple of Google Maps to show you where the area is and how to get there from the Chandni Chowk Metro station. If all else fails, get as far as Town Hall and start asking "Shoes?"










The bottom map shows only a very tiny-tiny portion of the phenomenal number of shoe stores clustered here.
