Why would you skip the Smyle Inn? I've just booked and am curious.

We stayed at Jyoti Mahal in Paharganj. It's off the main road so I think it's a bit more quiet. We had an air-conditioned room (noisy but worked really well). It's not very luxurious, but the price isn't too bad and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

The rooftop restaurant is wonderful. The food is incredibly yummy (best malai kofta and cheese naan I had in India) and it's the perfect place to relax after a day of sight seeing. It's a relaxing spot to watch the eagles soar while drinking an ice cold Kingfisher.

I thought Hari Krishna really dropped in standards whilst the price has nearly doubled in the past few years. Staff abrupt and look very over-worked, underpaid. Rooftop restaurant not as good as it once was and the rooms, well they gave them a lick of paint and added some flat-screen TV's, but the bathrooms are still a disgrace! I won't stay there anymore unless I'm really stuck for other options.

Has anyone stayed in Hotel Namaskar recently? I was told they were good and cheap last year. I'll be arriving in Delhi quite late at night and wont have time to look around. Thanks!

Check out Hotel Prince Polonia. I've stayed there twice and will be returning again this coming January. Nice staff, decent rooms and very good restaurant.

Smile Hotels in Paharganj

Hey guys... i'd like to share something about some economy hotels in Delhi.

Though 5-star hotels offer luxurious and timely services but there are some hotels in Delhi which provide services of international standards at lowest prices.

When it comes to book hotel rooms at economical rates in Delhi, Connaught Place, Paharganj and Karolbagh are the areas where hotels and guest houses are known for comfortable stay and quality services. Most of these hotels have 10 to 30 rooms so they aren't very large. But they serve comfortable services to guests. In these areas, all budgetary hotels are located nearby railway stations, airports and major shopping areas.

Not really, but I'm looking for a budget hotel . These guys charge me 1495 per night . And its in paharganj. So I guess I'm being cheated for nothing . I just want to know if its only me who feels cheated ??
