What is your favorite restaurant in Delhi
For indian food as well as any other type. There is a phenomenal restaurant called Gypsy in Dadar Mumbai with the BEST chinese/thai food I have ever had in my life
So wondering what are Delhi's main food attractions. |

I think its Karims... and Al bekh (in new freinds colony- famous for its showarma) and Bukhara in ITC Maurya.
I prefer fast food joints like Subway or Dominos or Papa Johns too. By the way here is a list of restaurants for all the tourists with reviews. http://www.free2wheel.co.in/taxonomy...estaurants/158 |

The raan at Punjabi by Nature at Vasant Vihar was utterly divine!
The tandoori chicken was excellent too, although dukkha's murgh tikka masala was slightly too spicy for me.The staff are always helpful, and it has interesting decor.

My most favourite restaurant in Delhi is the Mezbaan restaurant (I think they changed the name... something with "sec...") opposite the East Gate of JNU (towards Ber Sarai), right at the crossing where an architecture school is located.
Fast service, extremly tasty, always crowed and very reasonably priced! |

Favourites ? Hmm...
Mughlai : Karim's Other North Indian : Dum Pukht and Masala Art South (non-veg) : Kairaliyam and Andhra Bhawan Chinese : Empress of China, Nankings and 19 Oriental Avenue. Street/dhaba food : Odeon's chole bhature and gol guppas, Rajinder da dhaba's mutton curry, Shankar's mysore masala dosa, Malik's gulab jamuns, baedmi aloo anywhere in Chandni Chowk.... Italian : La Piazza Bengali : Was Babu Moshai but no more. Now Oh Calcutta for want of choice. Punjabi : All restaurants are pretenders. Real Punju food is made in Punju homes. Daal meat in Moti Mahal (Daryaganj) is good on occassions though. Still thinking... |
