Weekend in Dehli
Hey there,
Just wondering where the best place to stay for a weekend in Dehli would be. Would like to be in a lively place and would prob stay somewhere mid range (once it is clean that is fine by me). Any suggestions for hotels/guesthouses along with ideas on places to eat and info on the nightlife would be great. Cathy |

You can try Hotel Alka in Connaught Place. Costs around 3500 rupees per night.
You can always get something fancier though.

Get over it. You feel the need to tell people that you can offer them some really good advice IF THEY PM YOU. Thats not what this website is about, and nobody is going to change that. Get over your posts being deleted or find a website that will allow you to do what you want. The moderators on indiamike.com are volunteers, it's not an easy job, so stop sniping at them. |

Grab a picnic hamper and head for the Lodhi Gardens.

The new Millennium park is also a great place to go in winter.
On a Sunday walk thru the second hand book bazar in Daryagunge. Check out the entertainment section of the local dailies. Some performance or other like classical music, dance take place regularly. An evening at the Dilli Haat is recommended. Try regional delicacies from the eateries here. |
