<cross-posted with Puchoo. No, it probably wouldn't, certainly not after two posts back in 2004
>Amazing, isn't it. Can't say I ever ran into it either. From W'pedia, and dubious as always: "Joel Silver proposed a school Frisbee team on a whim in the fall of 1968. The following spring, a group of students got together to play what Silver claimed to be the "ultimate game experience," adapting the sport from a form of Frisbee football, likely learned from Jared Kass, while attending a summer camp at Northfield Mount Hermon, Massachusetts where Kass was teaching. The students who played and codified the rules at Columbia High School in Maplewood, New Jersey, were an eclectic group of students including leaders in academics, student politics, the student newspaper, and school dramatic productions. One member of the original team was Walter Sabo, who went on to be a major figure in the American radio business. The sport became identified as a counterculture activity."

Looking at the photo there - it made me think of soccer with a frisbee.

Oh yes... I assure you.. lots of kids play.. they still play i guess.. its a famous recreation among kids in evening after school.. But usually confined to grounds of apartments, or a locality.. No clubs and all though... and embarssed to say "we did modify some rules sometimes to suit us :P"

You're confusing it with Extreme Frisby.

I doubt tat this game has caught up in India. It' basically a game with a mix of football and basketball rules , used to play it a lot while I was studying in Toronto. Over there they used to call it the 'Ultimate game'
