Tennis options/partners in New Delhi?

I'm looking to play socially over the weekends and continue the doubles I used to play with buddies in the Bay Area. Am USTA Level 4.

Live in central New Delhi. Have identified a hard court at the YMCA in Nizamuddin that one can reserve in advance for a modest sum (Rs. 100). Every other place seems to require membership. Any other ideas?

Need to identify potential tennis partners that are about the same level. Any ideas where one can look? Saw a previous post in 2006 on the forum that had no replies, am trying my luck again. Anybody on this forum interested?

Looking for tennis partners in Delhi

Hi,

I've just arrived in Delhi and will be staying for at least a year.
I believe i can play at a decent 4.0 ntrp level, but i am more familiar with the french ranking system (30) : it should more or less match, i think.

If you feel like hitting balls either on weekdays evenings or anytime on weekends, please contact me anytime.

I am also looking for any tips about joining a tennis club or association in Delhi.

Rgds,
Tommy

Welcome to New Delhi, Tommy! Sorry have not been checking forum for a while.

Pls contact me at tennisinnewdelhi@gmail.com and we can set up some dates to knock. Weekends and week day evenings work for me too, and I live very close to where you are.

Cheers.

Tennis

Hi,
I will be visiting Delhi in January and February this year, and would like to play. I'm a USTA 4.5 woman - should be about your level. Please email me if interested.

Also, depends on which part of Delhi you are planning to come. I used to play tennis once upon a time at Panscheel Club early mornings when I used to stay in Hauz Khas. Gone are the days

Looking for partner for tennis

Am putting up in central delhi.
I used to play in college but am out of touch for a year now.
Am looking for a partner to play in the near by area like west patel nagar (150 per hour)or San Martin marg (i dont have the quotation)or may be DLTA..

If you know a better place, am open for that as well.
I prefer morning at 6 or evenings after 6.

Looking for tennis partner

I am planning on being in Delhi for the next month volunteering and would love to find some people to hit with. This will be my first time in India so I know very little, but I am looking for anyone to hit some balls with. My NTRP level is at or around 6.0, but I don't really care what level you are. I'm just trying to just get a hit in every once in awhile and maybe you can show me around the city a little. Thanks and hope to hear from some of you soon.

bump bump. would really like to see some courts while I am here. I don't even care if you're just starting to learn the game! Or if you know of any friends that I could get in contact with, that'd be glorious. Thanks!

I would've loved to join you but sadly I've got my exams coming up. If you don't find someone to play with, you could always head down to the nearby courts and join with some guys already playing there. We don't have the NTRP rating system here.
