Of course not unless its a high end hotel (in which case, be ready to pay 4-5x)
Just chill and take a radio cab: http://www.freerider.in/wiki/?cmd=Di...ight_taxi_info

Radio cab from prepaid counter in the arrival hall of the airport, Rs.15 per km. Hotel will charge more because of two hourly parking charges and because his cab gets tied down waiting for delayed flights etc. Also he has to pay entry charges if the driver has to come inside the arrival hall with a placard with your name.

Take a prepaid from IGA, if you arrive at night it'll cost about 300-350 Rs and you don't need to scan a crowd of faces and pray that the driver actually is there.

Saar,
Easycabs.com is better. Because they are the only official radio taxi operator today (even with meru/mega you need to hunt among the throng of people - not a good idea). So the OP can just walk to the easy cabs counter, pay cash and ride away in AC comfort peacefully. |

Meru Cab/ Easy Cab Charge around Rs 15 per Km. So or 18 kms it should be around Rs 270. Even if you add night charges(25%) it will be Rs 340 odd.
So Rs 700 seems a bit on the higher side. Regards Prasanth Kumar |
