Silk Tie and T-shirt Shopping in Delhi

hi there,

a while ago there was a thread about shopping in delhi, which i cannot find anymore. it mentioned a place called mantra or tantra, where you can buy funny t-shirts and also suggested a place to buy silk ties in delhi.
i would appreciate if anyone could let me know where i can find those shops or where is a good place to buy that kind of stuff.

It might not be a good place to buy, but I recall the underground shopping mall under Connaught Place has these sorts of shops.

I don't know about T-shirts. Nice ties at the government-run Cottage Idustries Emporium on Janpath (across the street from MacDonald's).

For nice T-shirts visit the "TANTRA" outlet on Janpath.
For silk ties try the Cottage Emporium also on Janpath also check out the Khadi outlet next to Regal cinema. The Khadi store offers great discounts in October.
