Sights close to Delhi...

Hi,

My girlfriend and I will be in Delhi between 22nd and 25th August in Delhi for a friends wedding. And we can enjoy a full 3 day Punjabi wedding

We'll be flying to Mumbai on 28th Aug afternoon. We'd like to travel outside Delhi from 26th Aug morning to 28th morning. We've already been to Rajasthan and Agra in the past. I'm kinda stumped where we can go for a couple of days. Somebody mentioned Amritsar??

Just wondering if anybody here has any interesting proposals?

Cheers,
Alex

Hi Alex,

For 3 Days, you may try to visit the following Destinations somewhere nearby Delhi with the commuting time from a minimum 5 Hours to Maximum 10 Hours per sector via road or rail:

Rishikesh-Mussourie
Amritsar
Manali
Shimla
Nainital

Not able to think of any other places as of now..

You mentioned you've already seen Rajasthan and Agra, so you may probably want to strike that off the list.

Happy Travelling

Cheers !!!

are foreign movies in India dubbed or subtitled?
I can't wait to see a real bollywood flick, I won't have any idea what they're saying but it'll be great.

Amritsar/Nainital/Shimla were suggested by others too. I would like to keep the commute time to the minimum. BTW, we will be taking a train. Are you aware of which one takes the least time?

I would consider spending that time in Delhi and exploring the city as well (assuming you have not been here before) , you just about have 2 days in hand....

There are enough things to do in Delhi , way more than the time you will be here for..
