shopping in delhi

hey does anyone know where you can find a good tailor in delhi- i am thinking of getting a few suits/western clothes made(not the backpacker outfit) and was looking for one that other people have used and would recommend (plus one with a catalogue would be even better so i could point and choose as my drawing ability is crap, lol)

try Sanjay who has a little unit at the back of Delhi Cloth House in Khan Market.
Not sure if he has any catalogues but why do you not take him some of your own pics from magazines or better still an original to copy from.
Delhi cloth house sells good suit fabrics in wool / linen etc ,you just buy the outer fabric and Sanjay's price includes lining , stitching etc. Though if you want some snazzy lining like bright colour silk than you will have to buy that yourself.

One of these days I will remember to look up the name and address of the "fancy" tailor I use in Delhi. He is very upscale, talented and can make a great looking suit. The one problem is his work can take 2-3 weeks to complete (it is a very busy shop).

Walk in to one of the Raymond's outlets(one at CP), choose & buy your fabric & they have good tailors who would stich the suits.
