Roof Top Resto in Paharganj

As I travel normally alone and the time sometimes goes slowly, I would like to know which are your favourite Roof Top Restaurants in Paharganj, not only for the food but also to have a cold beer and meet other travelers.

It's got to be the Metropolis for me wonderful food & you can't beat a glass of ice cold beer in the Delhi heat, it goes down so easy! KK

The Vivek and Hari Rama/Ajay also have rooftop restaurants for a cold beer, I can't say the food was brilliant though!! For a cosy place to eat and meet other travellers try the Everest Cafe, so small you can't help but meet other travellers!!

We went to a pretty cool place but i think it may have been mentioned. I think it was above a cafe called sam's? I can't find my lonely planet though now to check the name.

We satyed at hotel Rak Iternational and the roof top restaurant there was alright too.

I was last at the Metropolis in 1997 and was pretty impressed. Has it changed much?

I was there in '97 & '04, '05 & you may be pleased to hear that fortunately there's no change, unlike the rest of Delhi! KK
