Restaurants in Delhi

Any tips on good restaurants in Delhi?

Last time wewere there we were taken to a place in Old Delhi whuch had a vintage type car (yes, I said a car) doubling up as a bar. Does any one know it? We'd like to go there again but can't remember the name.

Karims in old delhi, safe food and good service. the place has won many awards for its food.

I loved Kwality restaurant in Connaught Pl. Very nice service, good food and unlike other good restaurants, this one had many locals, too... I always take it for a good sign that local people eat there!
If you get cravings for non-Indian food, there's Pizza Hut around the corner, also in Connaught pl.

Every thing at Karim's. Sag Ghost at Minar in CP. Coastal seafood at Sagar in Deffence colony, Kerala food at Abraham's inside Indian Oil Corporation campus in Green Park, Chor Bizarre for Kashmiri cuisine........there is no end to the list. If you are interested in any particular cuisine let me know.

Gulati restaurant, Pandhara road market.
This one is *THE* best, ~500Rs per guest.

Get a local daily nightlife guide from any paper stand for more.

I recently went to Piccadelhi in Connaught Place which is a food court concept with various cuisines under one roof. Excellent food.

Yes cfhi I am a great fan of Karim's for over 35 years & know them very well. So if you come with me you will have a great treat. A few days back I had gone there with my daughters & indiaworker & ate like pigs!

Here is a word of caution, never mention pig in any Muslim establishment or home.

i do know that, i came from Singapore and we do have Muslim there, and i have work in Muslim country for the past 4 years, in Malaysia and Indonesia. but u r not muslim are u?
