2] Paharganj area is just outside New Delhi Railway station & has lots of budget hotels.
4] Rikshaws hardly run on meter (or never). Fix your price before sitting. Do take a ride in Metro Train. Ronak. |

4) Before getting into the rickshaw, tell the man where you want to go and say an amount you are comfortable with and get them to confirm. I usually paid 40 rupees for normal rides, and up to 70 for longer rides.

1. New Delhi station is a short autorickshaw ride from Nizamuddin. Yes there are quite a few midlevel & budget accomodation near Nizamuddin station.
2. Pahargunge is full of budget hotels. 3. What kind of food is your choice? Plenty of eating options in Delhi. 4. Even Delhites fail to persue auto drivers to go by meter so as a visitor forget it. Before starting out enquire about fares from the guy at the reception of your hotel. |
