Quick Weekend Getaway from Delhi

Hi Guys,

Is anybody aware of any 'quick' weekend getaways from Delhi. I am looking for a 2day/1Night kind of break. Preferrably close to nature. Else anything would do.

By quick I mean - should be less than 5 hours of drive.

Have you been to Neemrana Fort? Its an amazing place - great for a quiet weekend away and only about an hour and a half from Gurgaon.
Have a look at the Neemrana group website as there are a couple of other properties near to you.
What about Haridwar/Rishikesh? If I remember correctly its about 5 hours on the train.

Plains - Bharatpur or Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary.
Hills - Kasauli, Solan or Lansdowne.

Isn't it Outlook Traveller that does a good series on weekend getaways from a number of cities? Can't find it quickly on their site, but you could dig around there.
