Pakistan visas in Delhi
The LP guidebook mentions the difficulty in obtaining a Pakistan visa in Delhi. Has anyone obtained one there recently? How much did it cost? I'm a US citizen currently in India but considering a side trip to Pakistan. Thanks.

Hi! I met a couple of Americans in Pakistan who had come from India, so it's definately possible.
As far as I know, you'll need a letter of introduction from the American Embassy in Delhi. It might cost a bit (I heard the British Embassy charges its citizens £50 per letter). I heard the Pak visas in Delhi take 8 days to process.... Remember, this is second-hand info, and old (lae 2005), but I'm pretty sure it won't have changed much......you should be ok, just have a bit of patience. Enjoy Pakistan! |
