| Old City accomodation Usually I'm happy in Paharganj but (maybe I'm a wimp) the recent bombings made me think of staying in a less touristy area. My budget is 300-500rs and I will be with my 2 youngsters (14 mths and 8 yrs) |

| ummm.....you could try the Karol Bagh area i guess...but there are enough tourists there as well....i dont think you will have any issues with Paharganj really.. any place is as safe or unsafe when someone decided to blow up something.. |

The price was about 400 IR for double. The restaurant at the rooftop was not bad for breakfast, and the famouse Carim's is at 3-minutes walk. Don't know about more upmarket options - the guidebook recommends Hotel Broadway
