nizammudin and new delhi are different stations or same??

i m confused that H.niz. and new delhi railway station are same or not???
pls clarify??
dehradun shatabdi goes from nizamudin????

New Delhi (NDLS) and Nizamuddin (NZM)are indeed two different stations. Dehradun Shatabdi leaves from New Delhi station, wheres Dehradun Express departs from Nizamuddin.

i will reach niz. at 5.40 am
and shatabdi leaves at 6.50am.
so can i reach there in the meantime??
or taking a bus from isbt to haridwar is a better option??

Provided the train #1 is not delayed, you can take an auto at that hour and safely make it to NDLS on time.

Delhi (Old Delhi), New Delhi and Nizammudin....are three different stations in Delhi.

New Delhi Station is 8 Km from Nizammudin. Normally it will take 30-35 min in normal days traffic......btu as you are reaching early morning, you will reach in 15 min (20 max) by an Auto.

Please also check platform for your shatabadi. There are two sides of the station. Platform number 1, that is Paharganj side.....and platform number 12, that is Ajmeri gate side. So you can enter from the nearest gate.

Early morning time will be less than 20 min.

are you reaching NZM station by train? if so, you can check if your train also touches NDLS (many do). that might be of help.

and how to reach that place from niz. station??

You can go to Delhi Bus-stand (ISBT) and can Delhi transport buses as per below detail -

DELHI - HARIDWAR (208Km) Fare rs. 143.00 Time-table - 0730,0815,0930,1630,1700,1900

Or you can go to Anand Vihar Bus Stand and you will get the buses from there too.

You will have to go to ISBT (Anand Vihar) to catch the bus for Haridwar. I don't think Haridwar-bound bus service has restarted from Kashmiri Gate ISBT or is it??

From Nizamudin, go to Pragati Maidan Metro station (about 4 Km from Nizamuddin station) and catch Anand Vihar-bound metro. Just ensure that you make the right exit from the railway station.
ISBT is just adjacent to the Anand Vihar metro station.

You can also go to Anand Vihar by an auto but since you would be new to the city, chances of being over-charged are more.

Please be aware of touts who would try to offer you seat in a private "AC Coach" parked outside Anand Vihar bus station.

Delhi Transport buses start from Kashmere gate, I guess. Outside Dlhi buses start from Anand Vihar. But you need to double check on this. Atleast, Delhi Transport Corporation says like this ( i mentioned only DTC time table).
