Cool new years eve in Delhi

I will be in Delhi on new years eve and since I will be traveling by myself, I was wondering if there will be some more crazy backpackers ready to party.

I spent New Year's Eve on the Rajdhani a couple of years ago -- travelling from Bhubaneshwar to Delhi. The train was only half full, so there was lots of space, and people were friendlier than normal.

A couple of young men made "Happy New Year" signs and taped them to the doors of our car, and they made paper hats for a few people. At midnight, cell phones started singing and woke lots of people up for long enough to say our good wishes.

Thanks for sharing the website Shashank.

Last year a friend had gone to Buzz after paying 4000 bucks, they closed shop at 12:30 which was a dampner and he had nowhere to go after that!

There are a lot of pubs and discs and five stars who organize parties, delhi is happening in new years for sure. These places are expensive so if you want something cheaper go to some mall they would have something or the other happening that day.

I will be arriving in Delhi just before New Year's eve, 11:30 PM.

Maybe they will be having a New Year's eve party in the arrivals hall? LOL.
