New to Greater Noida

Hi,
I hope I'm putting this in the right place.
I am a 30 year old woman, just moved to Greater Noida, have a lot of time on my hands (am alone a lot) and struggling to adjust. Going out makes me particularly stressed because of the crowds and the staring.
I really don't want to leave without having had some of the incredible experiences I know this country has to offer.
Any advice etc gratefully recieved.

Have you joined Delhi expat groups Yuni-Net or Delhi Network? Another option on IM is the Meetups thread. You don't mention your nationality, but there are some country-specific expat groups as well -- try Google.

Greater noida --- Not so great =*(

Hey!

I just shifted to greater noida as well from the US, mad boring. The malls are built but are 99 percent empty. etc etc

We all go to jaypee greens quite often near pari chawk.

Pretty cool place, nice gym, golf course, good restaurant, and good people.

other then that we usually try to go to Noida in sector 18, but its like 20 kms away.

Ohh and groceries from Honey Money top...great selection, near dominos pizza

any other questions feel free to ask.

btw

Welcome to greater noida!

I live in greater noida too, ahhh not so disappointed myself in fact. well we do live in Jaypee Greens and yah I would recommend Honey Money too because I don't know any other shops so close to where we live that sells a little bit of everything. You'll not find all you need at Honey Money but you'll be happy to find few things. Other than that, delhi is not too far so there you go..

Luckily, I have a team of experts working on solving the problem of boredom in Greater Noida. Have you been to jagat farms? spent some at Sparkle? Encore? yellow Chili? Hong Kong Bar? the Boomerang? not to mention the glory that awaits just beyond our borders in TGIP?

All entirely mediocre, but at least I can introduce you to some fellow ex-pats in the neighborhood. And my friends here know many more. how do i get in touch with you? can I post an e-mail address on this?
