New Delhi station to IGI Airport

How long does it take to get from the New Delhi train station (NDLS) to the International airport? I believe a pre-paid taxi would be best?

Yes a pre-paid would be the best option.

You should keep an hour for traveling atleast. If you are going before or after office hours you could end up doing it in 30 -35 minutes as well...

Is the pre-paid taxi in NDLS outside like it is at the airport?

I was advised to use a radio cab, but I don't have an Indian mobile (and it would be a pain for me to get one, as I won't be in the same state the whole time), but I can deal with a pre-paid if it's a little more money, as long as they take me straight to IGI.

What is the process for securing an ethical (or ethical enough) pre-paid taxi at NDLS at around 10:30 pm or thereabouts(if the Shatabdi is on time, that is)?

Sorry, I ended up getting off the train before the NDLS station because I was told it was closer to the airport. I can't remember the name of the station but it's right before NDLS coming from Agra. At this station however, a taxi person came up to me and we negotiated 550 rupees to the airport which took 1 hour at 10:30 pm (he drove like a maniac). 550 rupees might be alot but at this point in time, I couldn't be bothered to negotiate.
