New Delhi: International airport - Domestic airport ???

A few hours after arrival at New Delhi international airport I have a domestic flight from Delhi to Guwahati. But I don't know if the domestic airport is located at the same place as the international airport ? Somebody knows ?

The International terminal and domestic terminals (note the plural) are some distance away. It will take roughly 20 mins to travel from international terminal to domestic terminal by the airport coach.

It is recommended to have at least 3 hours between the arrival time of ur international flight and the departure time of ur domestic flight .... to cater for immigration, customs, travel, check-in, etc.

There are 3 domestic terminals.

Terminal 1A is the departure terminal for Indian Airlines and one more private airline (name I forget).

Terminal 1C is the arrival terminal for all airlines.

Terminal 1D is the departure terminal for almost all private airlines.

So, depending on the airline for ur Delhi-Guwahati sector, u have to choose the correct domestic departure terminal.

PS. Terminal 1B is unoperational for the past few months. Now, the new Terminal 1D caters to the departure flights.

It was IT(Kingfisher) in 02/09.

As on current date, Go Air & MDLR share 1A terminal with Air India.
