movie theatres in delhi?
I'm looking for a nice movie theatre in Delhi where I can go with my movie buff friend. Movies need to be in English of course and would prefer somewhere quite commercial (nasty I know) but looking for mainstream films and bit of anonymity amidst the chaos of Delhi, my friend needs to relax!
any ideas?? please |

There's a cinema in Connaught Place which shows English films regularly (as in a few sessions per day) - I can't think of the name of it but I'm pretty sure it's near bookworm. It might be the Plaza?

hi niki,
definition of good cinema will change depending upon where u r living in delhi... like if u living in south delhi, nothing is better PVR-Saket is the best place......can also check in Priya.....in fact, now you will find one PVR theater in every corner of delhi; east, west, north, or south...all the cinema run mainstream English movies regularly wherever you have put up in delhi, check the local newspaper and ask for your nearest PVR. p.s.; there are lots of old and new cinema halls in and around delhi, most of them located inside the shopping malls; you might also check there... disclaimer: I m not PRO or sales agent of PVR cinemas ..... ![]()

If you pick up a Delhi newspaper once you get there, the cinemas showing English films all seem to have ads in there so they'll be easy to find.

PVR Saket gets my vote too, great places to have a drink, tuck in and then catch a movie..of course, the kind of movies they show now has gone downhill
