Thats quite a lot... Except for India Gate I have seen none of the others listed by Indizen..

A lot of these monuments have now been given a facelift by the ASI (Archealogical Survey of India) and they look photogenic now a days... Humayuns tomb, qutub minar look great now a days..

Lakshmi Narayan temple?

Also there are some impressive churches and cathedrals I've not yet seen- Sacred Heart is one, and there's Cathedral Church of the Redemption which sounds amazing.

There is a great little book called the Small Monuments of Delhi. Well worth searching for! If you like obscure desolate places (I do) be cautious on approach lest you walk into something. I would use a 2 wheeler and always kept the motor running till I knew what was up..

Yup - you don't want to walk in unnanounced to one of those ubiquitous street dog orgies sans a good pair of runners or a rrrrrrrevved up scooter.

Those two are about a mile apart.

There's also St. James' at Kashmiri Gate in Old Delhi. Very impressive architecture (renaissance style, I'm told) - built by James Skinner, he of the Skinner's Horse. It's the oldest existing church in Delhi.
Here's an interesting article on Delhi churches by an authority on the colonial history of Delhi and North India, espesh the lesser-known bits.

There's also the very good 'Delhi and its Neighbourhood' published by the GOI's Archaeological Survey. Cheap and very handy for those wanting to delve a little into the city's not unimpressive history and associated architecture.

Apparently its a well known situation where lesser known sites are used for "other" purposes. Supposedly, this started after partition when many of them were used for refugee housing. I doubt the OP is likely to go to such sites off the tourist track but..

Yes, it's not in Malviya Nagar, but Hauz Khas Enclave, off Aurobindo Marg.

Here's what it looks like:

IMO, worth a visit only if u are nearby.

About the Minar itself, here's what the ASI has to say:
"On its exterior there are several circular holes of unascertained use. It is believed that the heads of thieves (chor), who were caught and beheaded, used to be placed in these holes to deter others from engaging in theft, from which it also derives its name."

look at these pic.s of some stuff from the same period of the Tughluq rulers.

Lal Gumbad, also known as Rakabwala Gumbad, entombs Shaikh Kabir-Ud-Din Auliya, a disciple of Shaikh Raushan Chiragh-I-Delhi. Situated in the Malviya Nagar area of South Delhi, it is believed to have been constructed in the mid-fourteenth century. The mortal remains of Shaikh Kabir-Ud-Din Auliya were buried here in 1397. Lal Gumbad is entered from the eastern side, through a marble bands-adorned pointed arch. The main tomb has been built in the shape of a square and has tattered walls, which are adorned with a facade of red sandstone.

Rakabwala Gumbad of New Delhi also has a plastered conical dome crowning its top. Lal Gumbad got the name of Rakabwala because of the golden finial it was once ornamented with, but which was later stolen by thieves. Infact, it is also believed that iron rings that are still seen on its western wall were set up by the thieves, for the purpose of scaling up the walls of the tomb. One of the most magnificent monuments belonging to the pre-Mughal era of Delhi, the Lal Gumbad resembles the tomb of Ghiyath-ud-Din Tughluq.
