How can it be in Gurgaon...either it has to be Central...that means in Delhi..or it has to be state level, that means in Chandigarh..

Hmmm, thanks, I had a look and I'm still struggling, maybe I should have just stated what I was after!

I need a school document (leaving certificate) to be attested by the Ministry of Education (wherever that may be!), the Ministry of External Affairs (that's ok, I know where that is) and the UAE Embassy - all in that order.

The individual at the UAE Embassy really helpfully told me that she had no idea where to go and I need to find that out for myself!

Soooooo where do I go get this attested first?

why dont u check with your school? I am sure they would be knowing all the contact details considering they have to do this every year?

What do you mean by 'Fact' ? you are asking the wrong question and I am correcting you.

You could have spent your whole life searching for a Ministry in Gurgaon and you wouldn't have found anything. You still do not know what do you want ?

Now that you know that there are two different entities, you have to google for them, anyone who would give you the exact address would use google.

PS : In your scenario it would be better to talk to school guys.

I need the Ministry of Education, that hasn't changed, fact is - is there one in Gurgaon, as the UAE Embassy said there was, but it was up to me to find it? If not (and the silly woman lied), where is it?

You said, state level in Chandigarh (is there one definitely in Chandigarh?), so where would that be? Failing that, where is it in Delhi as I am unable to find it?

Don't bust my chops, this is turning into a nightmare as we can't leave the country without this document..
