Meeting place at airport?

I leave in 2 weeks for my brothers wedding in India. I will be meeting my soon to be sister in law at the airport when I arrive. But I have heard the airport is a bit hectic. Does anyone know of a good place inthe Delhi airport to meet up with my people?

There's a little misinformation in that thread. I've had problems meeting people at the airport. It's easy miss the person if you decide to wait outside the terminal -- it has 5 different exits!!

The simplest way to meet is:

1] ask your friend to buy a Rs.50 ticket and wait for you inside the terminal in the arrivals lounge.

2] get his cellphone number and call him from the arrivals lounge when you reach there [in case he doesn't spot you as you arrive]. Know what color of clothes he'll be wearing so that he's easier to spot.

Some Airports are not allowing visitors to enter. I know Bangalore Airport changed their rule in January. As tacky as this may sound, they could wait at the exit of the builiding with a sign with your name on it, and you could find them -- like most limo drivers do..
