majnu-ka-tilla, Delhi
Has any stayed here (north of old-Delhi near Yamuna river)??? Any experiences or opinions about hotels/restaurants in this area?

The downside to Manju is the location, but it´s lightyears from the melee of Pahar Ganj. A softer spot to land in , lot of reasonably (but not low) priced accom. I like Tibetans, and Tibetan food so this is where I stay.

Good decision to stay there - rikshaw about 70 rupees to Old Delhi (at most).
Wongdhen House is good and within your budget. Food is great, they change money and get train tickets for you if required , nice view from the roof. Wish I was there now. Good luck friend. |

Majnu Ka tilla..is a mini tibet in delhi.U have tibetian guest houses in side the settlments too.
