Marte -- Where is Tai Wok located? Thanks for the advice. It sounds a nice combination.

just be where you are is enough to be 'enough'
if you think you are up for more give us, the delhi IMers a shout, I'm sure one of us would be there to show you 'his/her delhi'. yes we all have 'my delhi' kinda thing.

Right on! How do I give the Delhi IMer's a shout!? Next, I just discovered my Friday excursion to Agra and the Taj is a total mistake as it's closed on Friday! Being such the world traveller, I already booked the train ticket, and am leaving for Mumbai Saturday. ANYWAY, I didn't want to pay the entrance fee so I'm ok with it. I'll just look from outside. It just goes to show you can't always get it right. Thanks for writing, and I'd like to meet a real, authentic Delhi IMer sometime.

can anyone suggest a good vantage spot for owen to see the taj from outside - it's not that easy the walls are solid but i'm sure i remember people suggesting spots (probably hotel rooftops!)

And you can give a Delhi IM'er a shout by sending a PM - if you can figure out who the Delhi wallahs (like vinayverma) are. Some people list their location in their profile. |

I never had a cup of tea before I made it to India. Suddenly it's up front, first and foremost on the social/higgling/haggling circuit. Indians are Tea Freaks! Kawa/chai/masala/queen's choice/maharaja's special bend ... you name it .... you got it ... drink it to slow and they'll bring you a fresh cup ..... drink it to fast and they'll replenish .... politely decline and they will keep asking kindly.
The bottom line is you need to make room ..... for MORE TEA! The more potties the better! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
