Looking for decent hotel with reliable airport pickup in Delhi

We will be two people traveling to Delhi and we are looking for recommendations on a decent hotel with a reliable pick up service at the airport.

This will be late January. We don't have an arrival time yet, but looking at flights, it very likely to be 11-1 p.m. arrival

Our budget is looking for under $100.

Reliable airport pickup and a decent room.

We would like to be able to set this up in advance of arrival via the net, so Websites, contacts and or email addresses are appreciated.

thank you.

Checkout Hotel Ginger....

As for Airport Pickup, I'll say book with www.megacabs.com or www.merucabs.com

I booked a pickup and hotel through Namaste India Tours and the hotel (in Karol Bagh) was just fine, price reasonable.

Please make an effort and search the forum....I'm sure everyone wants to help here but sometimes I get so tired after seeing that someone posted 4 threads with questions that have already been answered a hundred times.

Scroll to the bottom of this page, some threads with likely answers are there.

Looking for updated and current info

We are simply looking for fresh information, and maybe some newer options that have not been mentioned. A search of the earlier posts contain a lot of dated info... we just hope for current tips, links and contact information... We have noted that even over a few months, there are more advance contacts and bookings that can be made via email... So we do appreciate current information

Moderator Note

Your recent request has been merged with the thread you have recently started on the same subject. You appear to have already started no fewer than two threads last year on this very subject! Please do not start any more. It is confusing. It is also against Forum Rules. Thanks.

Ananda Hotel in Karol Bagh is very nice and provides airport pickup (just don't book their taxi service to go out of town!). We were just there a number of weeks ago:

This is India we're talking about here. Many places will offer airport pickups, many places will actually turn up, but in terms of guaranteed reliability, the best you can hope for is "fairly reliable".

If the hotel doesn't materialise, there are umpteen prepay taxis at the airport, which is bustling all night through. It's not as if you'll be stranded.

You do seem to be emphasising how important reliability is. If "very reliable" is what you need, you might want to think about whether India is the right place for you to travel. Much as I love the country, it does require a certain... flexibility of standards and expectations.

Sazjoe,

I think you should checkout www.easycabs.com, they are Very Reliable as they are available at the airport itself. Modern cars fitted with GPS navigators and computerised billing systems......

Another very reliable service is offered by www.namasteindiatours.com .

Do not travel by 'easycabs' or 'merucabs'. They are the worst. Better look for prepaid Taxi/Auto. Ask Airport official for these prepaid TAxi/Auto. Even you ask for good hotel too or log in to yatra.com to book the hotel as per your budget.

I had bad experiences with them, twice I called them and found that they are arrogant. Also, they take advantage by charging in-appropriate fare. Also, they are very specific about the location, I mean the destination. They select whether they will go to your destination or not and accordingly they carry you else they wont.
Also, my sister had bad experiences with these. That's why, I trust pre-paid taxi rather than calling these guys.
