long term storage in delhi?

Hi, im travelling home to canada via india, and i am going to travel india for 3 months. was wondering if there would be a place where i can safely store a suitcase for 3 months in delhi.

leaving on feb 1, reading the posts on this site is getting me stoked! just got my backpack today, whee!

Do you need exact names?

I know in Paharganj (the main tourist ghetto in Delhi) that there are a few places and also many hotels will also store your stuff.

With the hotels it kinda guarantees that you will be back making another stay with them.

I have left stuff at hotels many times and never had any problems and most of the time it was free to store. You know like large objects that I don't want to lug around.

Oh and if you have a chance take a look in the storage room, especially of older hotels, it's usually just chock full of stuff left behind from years and years of people not coming back for their stuff.

Would make a good antique's roadshow.

We have safely left luggage for several months at the RAK International hotel in Paharganj (see the hotel listings on this forum) a few times. There is a small charge of a few rupees a day.
