Learning German in Delhi

Some new collaborations at work will now take me to Germany a lot more often and I feel it would be a good idea to learn the language. Where in Delhi can I take a course in German?

Thanks

Thanks Annett.

For anyone interested, the German Embassy looks after the interests of Austrian citizens in Thailand.

As far as I know Goethe Institute in India is "Max Muller Bhavan". They are the best option for German classes. And if you have a little time left, try to find a native speaker with whom you can practise, maybe in exchange for Hindi.

OP: I'd say dont do it.

If you're business is just business meetings a few times, then... in Germany there is no funny business in meetings ever, only straight face talks... not even 'lighten up the air' stuff. So dont try speak learner's German. That may go against your company's business with the German company.

Living for a few months maybe different but then too... its better in-my-stupid-opinion not to speak German or you will be taken for a new / rebellious Turkish guy. I have been thru this phase where, even when the Dutch are a bit more easy going than the German folks, those who dont know you are not a Moroccan will take you for rude (for being in their country illegally, stealing their low end jobs and not speaking the language of the land.)

Oh ... I get carried away ... if you're a cars guy, you'll love the Porsches!

My 1.5 Euro cents.
