Jetlagged in Delhi. What to do?

I'm arriving in Delhi on Feb. 21 at 7.30am Indian time. Although it's in the morning, I will most probably get almost no sleep on my flight and thus be very exhausted. The same day I'm planning to take an evening bus to Shimla (HP). As it's an overnight journey which leaves in the evening I'll have almost a full (sleepless) day in Delhi. Could any of you recommend me any things to do to get used to the culture shock (I'm a first timer to India) & still have a relaxed day? I thought of hiring a car & driver to see some sights. How much would the rate be for one day? And would it be advisable to hire the driver at the airport? If not, where else?
