information about delhi

Hi friends,

We will be arriving at New Delhi station on 5th October, 2008 at 10 am and our next train is on 7th Oct at 10-45 pm from N-Delhi .so we will be staying two days in Delhi. We want to see Delhi along with Tajmahal in these 2 days. My Q r —
1) Is it possible, if yes then how?
2) Is there any package of Delhi tourism of Delhi city tour?
3) Can any body suggest some good hotel near New Delhi railway station?

Hey another Puchu....sorry not allowed , IM is only big enough for one...and i came here first..!

You can do Delhi-Agra -Delhi in 1 day. The drive to Agra is only about 3 hours so if you leave around 6 , you can be there by 9 and leave again at 5-6 and be back in Delhi for dinner.

There are enough buses which ply or you can always take a taxi as well.

With respect to places near the station you would be looking at Paharganj or CP essentially. Just go through the hotels section of the site to generate some leads. CP will be more expensive and have less options but depends on the kind of place you want to stay in.
