Question info on Yatri house

Hello!
I will be in Delhi at the beginning of April and I'm looking for a hotel.
I'm looking for a cheap-medium hotel, but clean and safe and in a quiet place (but not too far from everything).

I'm thinking of Yatri house, near Pahar ganj, in Punchkuin Road.(I found it on Routard Guide).
Has anybody been there?
What do you think about it?

I had a look at the hotel listing forum, but found another yatri (also the guidebook writes there are 2 other yatri's in the same area, so I guess you wrote about one of them).

Other places I was considering are Master Paying (but seems a bit out of everything) and Hotel 55 (but it seems more expensive than Yatri, and in a noisy place).

Also, if you have any other hotel to suggest (cheap-medium price, but clean and safe and in a quiet place, but not too far from everything), any info is welcome.

Thanks so much for any info and take care

yatri house

I stayed at Yatri House (the one you describe) in December 2004 and liked it very much. We had a spacious room, a large bathroom with a good shower and hot water. There a two terraces where you can have breakfast or tea and meet the other guests. While the guesthouse is in the centre of Delhi it is still a quiet spot with trees and birds. The owner can arrange a car and driver for you, which we did twice.
Recommended!

Hi I had a look at the Master guesthouse website www.master-guesthouse.com and it looked pretty nice. I should stress that I have never been there but it has popped up on other threads here. Have a great trip whereever you end up. Bhuttaji
