In Delhi for one day
well i am in Delhi tomorrow arriving 9.30 for a Monday wedding and am out Tuesday morning. Monday is for family so i want to get around the city. i really really want to see the Purana Qila/Safdarjung because thts the only places i hvent been. but i would gladly go to the Red Fort as well.
i think i can only squeeze in one place. thing is though the wedding is in Gaziabad and i have no clue where that is ? i have a car picking me up. Is any of these places on the way?

Depends on where u are staying in Delhi... in all probability Purana Quilla may be on ur way to Ghaziabad. It is very hot now in Delhi so plan a morning trip.

skinny if ur making ur way from airport or new Delhi railway station to Ghaziabad, then it will be via south Delhi so Red-Fort will be out of ur way but Safdar Jung Tomb might fall on ur way depending if you go via AIIMS or Moolchand crossing.
I will suggest that you dont miss the newly constructed Akshardham Temple if you can make it fall on ur route, its amazingly beautiful, and if i were you ( though am sure that u must have been to Dilli Hat) then i would have left everything else to got o my beloved "Dilli hat" again. |

since ur driving from Airport to Ghaziabad and back i am pretty sure that you must be going via Noida Expressyway, is this is the case then forget about Purana quila/Red Fort.......limit ur visit to Safadarjung Tomb, Dilli Hat and if possible Akshardham Temple it is on N.H. 24 near Noida Mor.
If you majorly venture away from ur main route then only you can visit Purana Quila. |

From airport come to India gate side & then to Purana Quilla. From Purana Quilla take the Bhairon Marg next to Pragati Maidan & drive towards Nizamuddin bridge. Akhswardham temple will be on ur way to Ghaziabad.
