How much should a transfer from the airport to Pahar Ganj be?

When you arrive, you might see a few Taxi Operators Sign boards at the airport...........DON'T GET CONFUSED......Ignore them!

Stay alert and you will spot the PRE-PAID Taxi counter thats Government controlled. Tell them your destination, they will ask you to pay some 250 Rupees, (around 6 $) for Paharganj. Retain the Paid slip with you till this taxi driver drops you at the right place.

Once you reach Paharganj at your hotel, give driver the Receipt and you don't need to pay him anything else! If he was nice, which he would be, you can consider tipping him Rs. 20/-...thats 50 Cents!!!

Yes I mean my subject because if they provide the good service, modern facilities, good taxi, friendly staff, good rooftop restraunt and even if u have a realible person to get to ur destination, I am writing this just because I have phase a problem like this while travelling because the prepaid taxi drivers are trying to misguide the tourist that these kind of hotel is not exist and even they make a fake calls that goes to their partener or friend who said that u dont have any reservation at here but the truth is that the call is not made for ur final destination it's merly a fake call and the person on otherside of phone is also a fake. So trust me it's quite nominal and even if u get a staffboy from that hotel who is specially come to receive u from hotel and waitig for u and carry ur luggage introduce u with the whole city.

The prepaid price is 225-250Rs Most hotels charge 400-450Rs per car to Paharganj, this is because they have to pay parking fee's at the airport. If you pay anymore than this you've paid too much. KK

I am aware about this but if u have got door to door service very good staff, decore, trusted people and all the above the person who pays personal attention on theirguest then this is not expansive.
