| How long from CP to railway stations? Hi I'm new here. We go to India next Saturday and we have several trains booked out of Delhi - all from different stations (and different days!!) Can anybody help with roughly how long it would take to get from Connaught Place to New Delhi station (7.20am train), H Nizamuddin station (7.15am train) and Delhi Sarai Rohilla (8.55am train) and the best mode of transport to each one. We were toying with the metro for New Delhi station. Not sure if this is a viable option at that time of the morning. Any help gratefully received. Many Thanks Oxon Badger |

| At that time (auto is a good option, or taxi if you have a lot of luggage. If taxi, you may need to keep some time for getting one) CP- New Delhi: 5/10 mins, depending on where in CP. It may even be walking distance -Nizamuddin: 15/20 mins, auto -Sarai Rohilla: 10/15 mins; keep margin for safety, as that station is not well marked, and not every auto guy will know where it is. Metro: No idea.

| Of course, you may get an auto like the one I got at 5am at old Delhi railway station (none of yours, but much longer drive), who took me to near Vasant Vihar in fifteen minutes flat. But he was old, thought the auto was a maserati, and couldn't see ![]() |
